Suspect armed and dangerous
Police are searching for Jezreel Moxam, 21, a suspect in several crimes, including assault and robbery. He may be in the Morningside Avenue area and is considered armed and dangerous. A picture of Moxam is available on the Toronto Police website. Call 416 808-4306.

Man arrested in murder
Homicide squad officers have made an arrest in the shooting death of Jermaine Watson, 18, killed on Scarborough Golf Club Road, May 28, 2006. Carrift Jones-Solomon, 24, of Toronto, is charged with first degree murder.

Crackdown on gift card scam
Police stopping a car in the Brimley Road and Brimwood Boulevard area for a routine traffic violation say they found evidence of a $250,000 gift card scam that has led to four arrests. The cards came from various stores and contained debit information for customers in the United Kingdom.

Police recruit black officers
The Toronto Police Service Recruiting Unit will hold an information session for Black community members interested in a police career. It will take place on Feb. 9, from 1 – 3p.m., at the Malvern Community Centre at 30 Sewells Road. Registration is required. Those interested call 416 808-7591.
