Warriors fall in valiant battle
In a devastating loss Tuesday, the West Hill C.I Warriors fell to Sir John A MacDonald 3-2, in East Region Tier 1 Senior boy’s hockey. The high-flying MacDonald squad sits a top the standings alongside the Sir Oliver Mowat C.I Gaels, and currently leads the league in scoring. Macdonald narrowly avoided what would have been a huge upset to the forth place Warriors.

Wildcats on the prowl
The Woburn Wildcats senior boys basketball team defeated L’Amoreaux C.I 69-57 Tuesday, in the East region Tier 2 quarterfinals. With the solid12 point triumph, the Woburn boys followed up a narrow playoff victory by their junior team earlier in the day. The seniors will advance to the semifinals where they will face Sir Oliver Mowat C. I.

Artic Games come to JP II
The third annual TCBSB Arctic Games are coming to Pope John Paul II. Catholic elementary students from around the area will learn traditional Inuit sports in a non-competitive environment. They will also learn outdoor survival skills. Pope students will serve as group leaders for their young counterparts.
