Movie Memorabilia on Display
The Framing Dames host It’s My Funny Fings in Film with Bill Harmon from Oct. 10-25. Harmon is a movie set designer and has worked on films like Superman and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The exhibition will include his movie memorabilia. Opening night is Oct. 10 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. where Harmon will share his stories. 215 Morrish Rd. 416-287-2025.

Opera Playing at the Chinese Cultural Centre
A Cantonese Opera will be playing at the P.C. Ho Theatre on Oct. 17-19. Tickets range from $48 to $200. Theatre is located at the Chinese Cultural Centre at 5183 Sheppard Ave. E. 416-890-0678 or 905-709-7777.

Gallery goes to the Birds
The Doris McCarthy Gallery will feature an exhibition called Bill Burns: Bird Radio. It is a multimedia exhibition focused on animals, plants and safety. Oct. 29 to Dec. 14 at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus, 1265 Military Trail. 416-287-7007.

Theatre in Full Swing
Theatre Scarborough’s fall season is in full swing. Jake’s Women, a comedy about relationships, plays until Oct. 18. Gypsy, a musical about burlesque in the 1920s, will run from Oct. 30 to Nov. 15. $10 to $24 for each show. 3600 Kingston Rd. 416-396-4049.

Zoo holding Halloween Event
The Toronto Zoo is holding an event called Boo at the Zoo on Oct.18, 19, 25, and 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at the Zeller’s Discovery Zone, it will feature Halloween-themed activities such as storytelling, shows and animals. Up to two costumed children under 12 will receive free admission to the zoo when accompanied by a paying adult. 416-392-5929.
