Senator O’Connor’s junior football team posted another dominant effort on Thursday, blanking Agincourt CI 53-0.

Malkom Reid scored three touchdowns and Andre Messam added two more, as the Blues ran their record to 5-0. They have outscored opponents by a combined margin of 182-12.

The senior squad has held up its end of the bargain. They also sit unbeaten at 5-0 and have scored 145 points.

Elsewhere in senior football, East York Goliaths beat the Humberside Huskies, 16-6, on the strength of two Dylan Duggan touchdowns.

David and Mary Thompson C.I. continues to roll in senior girls’ basketball, posting a 75-31 win on Thursday over Stephen Leacock. They are 5-0 and lead Cedarbrae by one game in the East Region.

In the south region of boys’ soccer, East York leads a crowded field at 6-0. Lawrence Park, Leaside, and Bloor all trail by one game at 5-1.

In senior boys’ south region, the Goliaths are one of four teams atop the division at 5-0, alongside Lawrence Park, Central Tech, and Forest Hill.

Girls field hockey featured one game Thursday, with Malvern topping East York, 2-0, in Tier 1 of the South Region. Steph Hyde and Ezima Nnabuogor scored the goals.

Agincourt topped Sir Wilfrid Laurier in a close one Wednesday in girls basketball, 44-41, in senior Tier 2. Sharon Shi led Agincourt with 13 points, while Laurier’s Jalene Bartley led all scorers with 22.
