Shooting victim city’s 50th homicide of 2010

A man was found dead following a weekend shooting near Warden Avenue and Danforth Road.

Police responded to reports of gunshots after 1 a.m. Oct. 17, according to a police report.

They found the victim in a parked car with gunshot wounds to the head and pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigators are treating the case as a homicide.

Police have identified the victim as Ibsa Hassan Ismeil, 29, of Toronto.

He is the city’s 50th homicide victim this year.
