Music teacher charged with sexual assault of girl

Police have arrested a private music teacher who rented space at the Scarboro Music Company in connection with the alleged sexual assault of an eight-year-old girl.

On Oct. 18, officers responded to a call about an alleged assault, which took place nearly a week earlier during an Oct. 12 music lesson, police said.

Brian Bolliger, 54, of Toronto, is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual interference. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 18.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact Toronto Police or Crime Stoppers at 416−222−TIPS (8477).
