Minister of Infrastructure Bob Chiarelli has kept the riding of Ottawa West-Nepean painted Liberal red in a hard-fought contest over Progressive Conservative Randall Denley.
It came down to the wire for Chiarelli, the former mayor of Ottawa, who held off a late rally from Denley, a longtime columnist for the Ottawa Citizen.
