Canadian men’s wheelchair basketball team earns spot in 2012 Paralympics

The Canadian men’s wheelchair basketball team will be joining the roster of competing teams at the 2012 Summer Paralympic Games in London.  Canada won bronze against Mexico at the Parapan American Games on Nov. 19 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Canada now has four consecutive podium appearances at the Parapan Games.  In 2003, the team finished first and in 1999 and 2007 they finished second.

The 2012 Summer Paralympic Games take place from Aug. 29 until Sept. 9.
