A woman was hit by an SUV Monday night at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue and Midland Avenue in Scarborough.
She was walking across the street with her son when she was hit and then pinned under the car.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but not life threatening. The boy was not injured.
Police are looking for the driver who fled the scene on foot.
Witnesses are to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
