Service suspended on RT line during morning rush

Shuttle buses brought in as signal problems at Lawrence East create disruption

Signal problems on the Scarborough RT line suspended service during the morning’s rush hour on Sept. 26.

There was no service on the Scarborough RT line from Kennedy to McCowan due to signal problems at Lawrence East, according to the TTC.

The TTC reported the service disruption began about 7:55 a.m. Shuttle buses operated in place of the trains.

By 9:24 a.m., the delay at Lawrence East cleared and full service resumed on the Scarborough RT line with residual delays.
