Arrest made in gang feud investigation

Police have arrested and charged a man in connection to an ongoing drugs, guns and gangs investigation.

The arrest follows an Oct. 4 request by Staff Insp. Greg McLane of the Homicide Squad for help finding several men wanted in connection with two police investigations: Project Brazen and Project Quell.

The two projects were started to investigate incidents related to what police say was a feud between the Galloway Boys Gang and the Orton Park Gang.

On Oct. 24, at 7 a.m., Micheil Davy, 23, of Toronto was arrested in connection with Project Quell.

He is charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, trafficking marijuana, three counts of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and two counts of participation in a criminal organization.

Davy was set to appear in court at 1911 Eglintion Ave. E. on Oct. 24.
