Cops turn to public for help identifying deceased man

Man may not be from Toronto, police say

Investigators are asking for help identifying a man found dead on Sept. 13 in the Markham Road and Finch Avenue area.

Police say the man may not be a resident of Toronto but from the U.S. or the U.K.

The man is described as caucasian, between 55 and 75 years old with balding, strawberry blond hair that was turning white, a moustache and a soul patch, and a denture for his front teeth.

Police found him wearing a black hooded Point Zero jacket, a blue and white striped shirt and blue jeans. He also had neon green and black Under Armour shoes that are only sold in the U.S., police say.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-4200 or Crime Stoppers.
