Many members of Toronto’s journalism community gathered at Nathan Phillips Square to protest the arrest and detainment of three Al Jazeera journalists in Cairo. Among those arrested, was Canadian journalist Mohamed Fahmy. The idea of the protest was to spread awareness about what many are calling an injustice.
