A man appeared in court on March 13 in relation to the death of 54-year-old Timothy Kevin Milley four days earlier.
Police responded to reports of a fight near Greenwood and Danforth avenues on March 9. Officers discovered a severely injured Milley and called an ambulance for him, police say.
Milley died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Police searched the area for a man matching the description Milley gave before dying and they made an arrest.
Dwayne Barton, 46, has been charged with manslaughter.
