Warm weekend expected in Toronto

Temperatures looking to peak on Thursday

It looks as if Toronto residents are finally getting a reprieve from the unusually cold weather.

After one of the coldest winters in history, Weather Canada predicts Thursday may bring the warmest temperatures of the year so far.

The high is set for 16 C, though rain is expected in the evening.

The warm weather is scheduled to remain throughout the weekend. However, the temperature could drop to around 2 C on Tuesday.
