A large quantity of missing medication could be a danger to public health, police say.
The medication was reportedly left on a west-end bus.
Police say on April 17, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., a man got off the westbound Eglinton Avenue TTC bus at Weston Road when he realized he’d left a paper bag on the bus.
Inside the paper bag were four vials of methadone, a medication that could be fatal if ingested, especially by children.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the medication is asked to contact the Toronto Police at 416-808-1200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS.
