Large quantity of methadone left on TTC bus, police say

A large quantity of missing medication could be a danger to public health, police say.

The medication was reportedly left on a west-end bus.

Police say on April 17, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., a man got off the westbound Eglinton Avenue TTC bus at Weston Road when he realized he’d left a paper bag on the bus.

Inside the paper bag were four vials of methadone, a medication that could be fatal if ingested, especially by children.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the medication is asked to contact the Toronto Police at 416-808-1200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS.
