Toronto woman killed in crash on 401

Three others taken to hospital

A Toronto woman died when the car she was in crashed into a concrete median on April 20, OPP say.

The vehicle was heading west on Highway 401 toward Highway 6 when it left the road and went into a right ditch.

The car then returned to the highway and crashed on just south of Guelph.

The woman, 54, was a rear seat passenger in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

Three other people who were in the car were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No names have been released.
