Air Canada ranks second in a list of airlines with the rudest flight attendants, according to a poll on a flier website. Airfarewatchdog.com surveyed almost 3,400 of its readers to determine the ranking.
Budget U.S. airline Spirit took first place at 26 per cent. Air Canada is at 14 per cent, above all other North American airlines like US Airways and Virgin.
This comes days after an Air Canada luggage handler was caught on video throwing luggage from the top of a stairway at Toronto’s Pearson Airport, which raised a minor outcry against the airline’s poor customer service.
Earlier this year, Canadian Press reported a rise in flier complaints against the airline, with customers citing rude service and poor communication as their chief complaints.
