Police searching for man after parking enforcement officer is assaulted

The officer was hit by part of the man's vehicle while she was on duty

Toronto Police are looking for a driver in connection to the assault of a parking enforcement officer.

Police say that a man driving a black four-door Acura approached the on-duty officer in the Moore Park neighbourhood, Saturday morning.

The officer was tagging vehicles when the man told her to leave. The driver then sped up quickly, causing the side mirror of the car to hit her.

The suspect is described as white male, who is between 5’9 and 5’10.

The vehicle involved is described as an Acura MDX or RDX. The end of the license plate reads BAXS. The car was last seen driving southbound on Cliffton Rd.
