Three of six men wanted in the August beating of teenage boy Toronto Police

Toronto Police are seeking the help of the public in an aggravated assault investigation and are urging witnesses with any information to come forward.

Police say that on Aug. 3, a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in the area of York St. and Queen St. W.

The boy was exiting a taxi on York St. when the incident occurred. According to police, he was approached by six men, who punched him, kicked him, and stomped on his head.

The trauma to his head left the boy in a coma.

The suspects are described as five black men and one white man, between the ages of 18 and 25. The men can be seen running in security footage, provided by the Toronto Police.

After the assault, the men fled on foot towards University Ave. Three of the men then jumped into a taxi, which was last seen driving northbound.
