Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for breaking into an optical store in Chinatown.

The incident took place on July 15 near Dundas Street West and Huron Street. Police allege that the suspect smashed the front door window pane and used a set of bolt cutters to open the lock. Once inside, he stole approximately $30,000 in merchandise.

The same man returned to the same optical store on August 18. He struck the front door with a set of bolt cutters and smashed the glass but was not able to get into the store on his second attempt.
