Toronto doctor faces charges in sexual assault investigation

Police believe there may be more victims

Toronto Police have charged a doctor in relation to a sexual assault investigation.

In a media release, police say that a woman attended to at the CML Healthcare Clinic on Coxwell Ave. in the spring of 2013, for a routine medical examination and reported being touched inappropriately. She then stopped the exam, and left the clinic.

Police say that during the summer of 2014, the physician contacted her, against her wishes, for reasons that were not medically related.

On Oct. 22, 2014, Dr. Oluleke Badmos, 52, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and criminal harassment.

Badmos is scheduled to appear in College Park court today in room 501.

Police believe there may be more victims.
