House fires suspected to be arson

Investigators call blaze a deliberate act

Toronto Police are looking into a fire that engulfed a row of houses causing property damage.

On Dec. 1. police responded to a call at 12:57 a.m. for a fire around Oxford Street and Spadina Avenue area.

Police are now making this a crime scene. An investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal concluded the blaze was no accident.

Police confirmed they are investigating the fire as arson.
