Police seek two after pair of sexual assaults

Women reported being sexually assaulted at knifepoint

Two sexual assaults reported this week at opposite ends of the city, both women were held at knifepoint.

A 15-year-old girl was stopped from getting off at her bus stop by a man holding a knife near the Morningside Drive and Cumber Avenue area on Tuesday.

The man forced her to a nearby apartment building and sexually assaulted her.

Police say they are looking for a black, dark-complexioned man in his early 20s. He is described as 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, muscular, and having shoulder-length cornrows.

A 19-year-old woman also reported being sexually assaulted at Lakeshore Boulevard West and Islington Avenue yesterday afternoon.

A man approached her from behind and led her to a secluded area and assaulted her, also at knife-point.

The man fled when a female passerby approached the scene.

The suspect is described as olive complexioned, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 with a stocky build.

Both attacks occurred between 3 and 3:30 p.m.
