Pair sought after East York robbery

Violent assault and theft at Greenwood and Danforth avenues

Toronto police are looking for two individuals in connection with a violent assault and robbery that occurred in East York on March 17.

The robbery occurred near the corner of Greenwood and Danforth avenues. Police say two men stabbed an unidentified victim who made several attempts to escape from the altercation. The pair also stole personal property from the victim.

They’re now wanted for robbery, forcible confinement, possession of property obtained by crime, theft of under $5,000, assault, assault with a weapon and threatening death.

Police are looking for Darrin Wickens, 29, and Taso Antipas, 45, both residents of Toronto. Wickens is described as being 6’, 170 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair. Antipas is described as being 5’9”, 180 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.
