Etobicoke's Planet Bowl is set to be the official bowling facility for the 2015 Pan Am Games, during which it will be known as the Pan Am Bowling Centre. Shelby Morton/ Toronto Observer

Planet Bowl, located at 5555 Eglinton Ave. W. in Etobicoke, is set to be the official bowling facility for the 2015 Pan Am Games.

During the games, the facility will be known as the Pan Am Bowling Centre.

It will host some of the top bowlers, both men and women, in the world in singles and doubles competitions.

According to toronto2015.org, “the facility’s 48 lanes meet the standards set by the International Federation of Bowlers and the Pan American Bowling Confederation.”
