The Ontario Liberal government says that it is on track to achieve a balanced budget by 2017-2018.
Minister of Finance, Charles Sousa announced that the budget will be tabled April 23 in the legislature at Queen’s Park.
“We are on track to balance our budget by 2017-18 and will do so in a way that is both fair and responsible while supporting the vital services that Ontarians rely on,” Sousa said in a press release.
The budget will adopt a four-pronged approach that includes investing in skills, building public infrastructure, helping businesses and ensuring everyone has an appropriate retirement plan, according to the release.
