Police seize cash and drugs in arrest

Toronto police arrested a man suspected of being a drug trafficker after a series of raids on Sept. 16.

Search warrants were executed on a home, vehicle and storage unit in the Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue area. Police say they seized a stash of over 2,000 Oxycodone pills, $18,000 in cash, unprescribed Methadone and a Zaraki 914 handgun.

A total of seven charges were laid against of Stilianos Christoforou, 25, including the unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of the proceeds of a crime, and possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking.

Christoforou was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 17.
