Ideal Bread Company

Originally built in 1919 for bread production, the Ideal Bread Company was designed by Montreal architect, Sydney Comber. The exterior features exquisite stonework detailing and the windows were designed uniquely for each floor, distinguishing the various factory levels. It served as a bakery until 1957 and was renovated into residential lofts 50 years later. Paying homage to its history, the factory clock still remains above the front entrance.
