Toronto rapper Drake has opened a restaurant in Toronto’s downtown. Fring’s, a partnership with celebrity chef Susur Lee, opened  Sept. 21. It is located at 455 King St. West, a space previously occupied by Crush Wine Bar. While prior details of the dining establishment have been scarce, Lee hinted at the collaboration on Instagram last week.

Drake made an official statement about the restaurant through his Vine social media account, congratulating Lee and associates on their achievement.

Outside of social media, both Susur and Drake kept information about the opening night under wraps. It was speculated on social media that actor Jayden Smith and tennis star Serena Williams both made appearances at the event. Drake spent the night DJing for guests while a large crowd formed outside the building.
