Apple devotees accept long line ups for new iPhone 6S

Latest release available at retail stores in Toronto

There was never a point when there was no one in line.

The Toronto Eaton Centre Apple store is often packed, but on one recent day, it was busier than usual, with long line up snaking beyond the store.

On Sept. 25 at 8 a.m., the new iPhone 6S became available for purchase in Apple retail stores.

Whenever Apple releases a new phone there are almost always continuous lines of customers.

“Apple today announced it has sold more than 13 million new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus models, a new record, just three days after launch,” Apple announced in a press release.

Among those waiting to buy the latest iPhone release, two things became clear — Apple fans have both product loyalty and an appreciation of good software.

“I think their new phone somehow satisfies my requirements so I chose to buy it,” customer Sam Lau said. “I think the new iPhone has many improvements that I really like.”

Meantime, there are those who purchase Apple phones because of positive past experiences.

“I’m an Apple customer for five, six years,” customer Rezban Ahmade said. “I always buy Apple products.”
