Toronto police have released images of a man wanted in connection with two East York robberies.

The first robbery occurred on Aug. 12 at 53 Thorncliffe Park Dr. and the second on Aug. 28 at 27 Thorncliffe Park Dr. Both locations are apartment buildings.

The victims in these two cases, a 33-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were followed by a man into the elevator of their apartment building and robbed of their cellphones with a kitchen knife.

No one was injured in either robberies.

The man is described as in his 20s with short black hair and a beard. He is between 5-foot-8 to six feet tall with a thin build.
