T.O.’s Woofstock brings together dog owners from across Canada

More than 250,000 attended annual fest for canines and their humans

It was kooky and yet creative.

Woofstock, Canada’s largest dog festival, celebrated its 12th anniversary this year.

According to organizers, the Toronto event, held Sept. 26 and 27th, was by far the best  in history, with new additions and the impressive crowd that attended.

Organizers say that over 250,000 plus had attended this year. The event had fashion shows, obstacle courses, pageants and even a red carpet for man’s best friend.

Two of the special guests this year included Mayor John Tory and Bill Marshall, founder of the Toronto International Film Festival, whom served as judges for the canine fashion shows.
