More than 12 per cent of Canadians suffer from social anxiety. Their workshop, Toronto’s Mindful Artists and Storytellers, is held in a basement on Broadview Avenue.

The setting of the workshop is in a room filled with artwork with  Christmas lights to simulate people sitting around a bonfire. This is the place where they explore the different corners of the mind, through mindfulness and storytelling.

Toronto Observer’s Denice Raagas has the story.
