This Halloween season, The Haunted Walk of Toronto is welcoming voyeurs and believers of the supernatural, to join them on a tour of the ciy’s spookiest spots. These 90-minute walks include a Ghost and Spirits tour of the Distillery district, and an Original Haunted Walk through the heart of downtown.

From Oct. 9 to 31, The Haunted Walk will offer special Halloween versions of their tours.

“We change up a couple of the stories a little bit,” says Katie Coseni 22, a tour guide for the walks.

“We make them more interactive, so it’s a lot more fun for everybody who comes on the tours. There are games and activities, prizes you can win, and we try our best to discover who really is Toronto’s greatest ghost,” Coseni says.

The Original Haunted Walk will also include a visit to the Mackenzie House, a building rumoured to be one of the city’s most haunted locations.

Raymond Walia, 23 is a Haunted Walk first-timer.

“It’s pretty interesting, and it adds that much more flavour to the environment, especially for tourists. In Toronto, you don’t really get to see things like this normally so it’s pretty cool,” Walia says.
