Man sought for robbery at site of shooting in February

A McDonalds on Danforth Avenue that has become familiar to crime was robbed early this morning.

Toronto Police received a call at 2:54 a.m. and were notified a robbery had taken place at the McDonalds near Danforth and Coxwell avenues.

A man with his face covered handed a note to the cashier regarding his demands, according to Const. Caroline de Kloet. The man was described as black, over six feet, and wearing grey clothing and a black puffy jacket.

No injuries were reported.

This is the same McDonalds location where two people were shot and killed in the early hours of Feb. 28 this year.
