Bieber pop-up store draws purposeful fans

Beliebers come out in droves to support singer's comeback album

Justin Bieber opened a pop-up store in Toronto this weekend to promote his new album Purpose and his recently announced tour.

Fans lined up for hours outside the store at 227 Queen St. W.

“I think the fans are more than excited that the Biebs is back,” said Abir Arefin, who was in the line and could not wait to get her hands on some Bieber merchandise. “We missed him, and we couldn’t be more proud.”

Being there and buying his merchandise is a way of showing support, Arefin said.

She was upset she couldn’t be one of the first 50 fans in line, who got free merchandise such as skatedecks. Bieber’s presale for his tour took place Nov 13., but sales for the general public go on sale Friday.

Beiber will be on tour in Toronto on May 18 and 19.
