En route to Bermuda from Toronto, Air Canada flight 942 turned around and made an emergency landing Wednesday at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
The plane was diverted due to an engine issue. Media Relations for Air Canada says the crew followed procedure in declaring an emergency. They also say the plane landed normally and taxied to the gate where its 100 passengers deplaned.
“We have a team on location to take care of our passengers and get them to Bermuda as soon as possible,” said Isabelle Arthur, manager of media relations for Air Canada.
