Will that be a Donald or a Hillary pizza?

A pizzeria is giving Toronto diners a chance to participate in the U.S. elections.

On Oct. 17, Josh Spatz and Alex Potter, owners of North of Brooklyn Pizzeria, announced two pizzas featuring the presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

“The Donald” is a meat lover’s pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, and “orange” cheddar cheese for Donald Trump’s skin colour and “Jalepeños that are not from Mexico,” Spatz says.

“The Hillary” features mozzarella, blue cheese (Democratic Party colours), and smoked chicken “because some people think Hillary is a little bit of a chicken,” and arugula “that has been partly removed,” he said.

Spatz was aware the taste-test could cause some bias for the candidates.

“I definitely think that may happen, I guess we’ll just have to see how it goes,” he said. “People may be faced with a tough choice but that’s what elections are about.”

The tasting polls run until Nov. 1 at the pizza chain’s Queen Street West, Church Street, Dundas Street West and Geary Avenue locations.
