Three men have been arrested in connection with a robbery of an illegal gaming house in Scarborough.

On Oct. 29, two masked men entered the house carrying a .38 calibre revolver and a 12 gauge shotgun, police say.

The men reportedly took an employee and demanded cash. A confrontation occurred between the robbers and patrons. A patron was able to subdue one of the men and hold him until police arrived.

Police say the other man fled the scene in a getaway vehicle, driven by a third man.

Cameron Snapp, 20, has been charged with eight counts including robbery with a firearm and assault with a weapon.

Two other men were arrested on Nov. 3.

Shakeen Waugh-Hutchinson, 20, has been charged with the same eight counts and Tajh Rouse, 21, was charged with robbery with a firearm.

Snapp was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30. The other two men were scheduled to appear on Nov. 4.
