Toronto Police Services’ 55 Division will be targeting individuals wanted on warrants and breaching bail conditions this holiday season in Project Grinch.

Though the name is humorous, the program is anything but. Police will be bringing suspects before the courts and putting the guilty behind bars.

“These people create an ongoing threat to community safety,” Toronto Police Services said in a statement.

Police will be operating 24 hours a day with multiple units in uniform and non-uniform monitoring the streets of Toronto.

Anyone with information on crimes is urged to contact police at 416-808-5500, anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS(8477), online at www.222tips.com or text TOR and your message to CRIMES (274637).
