A shooting at a Scarborough restaurant last night has left one man dead and two injured.
Police responded to gunfire at the Tropics Restaurant located on Markham Road near Eglington Avenue East. One male died in hospital while the other two, one male and one female, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released. Police have still not identified the deceased.
The suspect is described as a man with a light complexion, wearing dark clothing and about 20 years old.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call 416-222-TIPS.
The incident marks Toronto’s 65th homicide this year.
