17-year-old charged five days after Etobicoke shooting

No one injured, public assisted police investigation

A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with five shots being fired near the Martin Grove Road and John Garland Boulevard residential housing area on Feb. 28 at 7:44 a.m.

Police reported the shooter fled when they arrived at the scene.

Ammunition casings were found at the scene.

According to the police, no one had been injured but a vehicle had been damaged.

Members of the public assisted the police investigation.

A search warrant was granted for an address and a 17-year-old was arrested on March 5 around 7 p.m.

He is facing seven charges and will appear in court on March 7.
