Mayoral candidate John Tory talks to media after casting vote in advance

Mayoral candidate, John Tory, spoke to reporters after casting his vote for the municipal elections.

Advance voting started around the city Tuesday, 13 days before election day on Oct. 27. Tory, who casted his vote at City Hall, joked about whom he voted for.

“I managed to vote for Number 57,” Tory said. “Number 57 is John Tory for mayor. That’s who I’ve voted for.”

Advanced polls will remain open for six days until Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 44 locations throughout the city.
