York Region may shame drunk drivers

With an increasing trend in the number of drunk drivers York Regional Police are considering implementing a “name and shame” program. Those convicted of a driving under the influence could have their name shared on social media.

Zero tolerance for drunk driving

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Canada estimates that in 2010, more than 175 people were injured per day in impairment-related crashes. They estimated that more than thee people died per day in related collisions that year.
