Spelling bee flies into Malvern Town Centre
Malvern Town Centre, 31 Tapscott Dr., is hosting GTA Schools’ Future Spelling Stars. Over 450 spellers aged six to 16 will be competing March 29 and 30, between 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. www.Malverntowncentre.com.

A drive for volunteering
West Hill Community Services needs volunteers to drive vehicles for their Congregate Dining and Meals-on-Wheels programs. Volunteers over the age of 18 with a vehicle and a valid driver’s license that can work weekdays between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. are welcomed. 416-847-4127.

Receive community service hours
The YWCA Girls’ Centre needs young women in Grades 10 to 12 to tutor girls in grades four to eight on Mondays from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at 3090 Kingston Rd. Tutors are given training, snacks and TTC tickets. 416-266-1232 ext. 32.
