Last year the City of Toronto employed:
· More 1,000 people who received a salary of over $100,000 a year
· More than 400 employees earned the same amount due to working over-time
· The staff mentioned above do not include employees in the City’s agencies such as the Toronto Police Service, the TTC, and the Toronto Public Library
· All these agencies are responsible for reporting their own staff’s budget themselves.
