Buffalo Bills cornerback Leodis McKelvin had his front lawn vandalized following the team’s season-opening loss at the New England Patriots.
Hamburg police confirmed on Tuesday that the Bills player’s home was defaced, but declined to release details of their investigation.
An obscenity and the score of Monday night’s game, a 25-24 Buffalo loss, were painted in white on his lawn.
McKelvin fumbled a critical kickoff return with under two minutes to go and the Bills up 24-19. The miscue led to New England’s Tom Brady throwing the go-ahead touchdown pass to Benjamin Watson, a play that gave the Patriots the win.

It was a classic Bill’s heartbreak defeat, fans should be used to it.
