Scarborough Hockey Association finds saviour in GTHL

A plan allowing the six remaining minor atom (nine years old) and atom (10 years old) Scarborough Hockey Association teams to play alongside Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) teams in it’s A Division has ensured the existence of the troubled hockey league for at least one more season.

Although home games will be played at Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre or at Commander Park, teams may have to play on weekends due to GTHL rules. A heavy decline in participants has threatened the association with extinction for the past year.
